Our philosophy

Responsible fishing

The sea is not a supermarket

At Subzone we teach spearfishing with absolute respect for the marine environment. It is not about filling the fridge, but about living a connecting experience with the ocean and obtaining food in a selective and sustainable way.

  • Selective catch: only what you will eat
  • Respect minimum sizes and closed seasons
  • Knowledge of protected species
  • Care for the habitat: do not touch coral or the seabed
  • Setting an example for future generations

Freedivers first, fishers second

Breath-hold spearfishing is the most selective and sustainable form of fishing that exists. No nets, no trawling, no bycatch. One fish, one conscious decision.
