Subzone Level 2 is not a course with a fixed start and end date. It is a continuous training programme where you refine your freediving session by session, under the supervision of certified instructors.
After completing Level 1, the natural next step is to train regularly. Level 2 is awarded when you demonstrate consistency, technical mastery and meet the established benchmarks. There is no rush: every freediver has their own pace.
Static apnea sessions with progressive tables. Advanced mental relaxation, management of diaphragmatic contractions and improvement of breath-hold time.
Perfecting finning technique, hydrodynamic position and movement efficiency. Distance work in the pool with monofin or bifins.
Training the freediving arm-pull and breaststroke kick. Dynamic without fins is the ultimate test of technical efficiency and body control.
Open-water dives with Frenzel equalisation, freefall and body position work. Gradual depth progression with safety at every metre.
